INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO WASH COUTURE KNIT MAGIC THAT HAS BEEN BESTOWED UPON YOU:
hand wash with lukewarm (tepid) water &
organic detergent appropriate for the fiber AND YOUR BODY !!!!!
(and your water waste system for the off-griders)
(softly) JIGGLE the magic around in the mix
DRAIN
RINSE with fresh water
DO NOT (ever) WRING KNITS (it’s bad form, literally)
DO SQUEEZE (gently like you are giving your grandmammy a hug)
LAY FLAT TO DRY where air can pass through on a towel, cookie rack, or drying rack if you fancy and have drying racks in your laundry room* ... a flat bed with non-synthetic bedding works as well....
* (i totally recommend it not gonna lie. everyone likes feeling fancy, and your sacred precious clothing should definitely feel fancy if you have the resources to fancy your fibers ;)
